The 13th ELSEDIMA International Conference – Environmental Legislation, Safety Engineering and Disaster Management will take place on 12–13 November 2026 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, bringing together researchers, academics, public authorities, industry representatives, and other professionals interested in current environmental and societal challenges.
This year’s anniversary edition is dedicated to Professor Alexandru Ozunu, whose initiative and scientific leadership laid the foundation for the ELSEDIMA conference series.
The conference will address topics including disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, environmental pollution prevention and monitoring, remote sensing for hazard analysis, industrial process safety, big data for environmental research, crisis communication, and sustainable development, through scientific presentations, keynote lectures, workshops, and discussions.
