The organizers of the special session “Po and Radioactive Pb in the Environment” at the RAD 2025 Conference have announced an extension of the abstract submission deadline until March 31, 2025.
The conference will take place from June 16-20, 2025, at Hunguest Hotel Sun Resort in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
This session will explore the behavior and environmental applications of polonium-210 (^210Po) and lead-210 (^210Pb), including their presence in terrestrial, marine, and groundwater ecosystems. Topics will also cover their use as tracers in atmospheric studies, their role as chronometers in marine and cryospheric environments, their occurrence in Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) industries, and advancements in measurement techniques.
